Comic for August 20, 2008
I’ve been in overdrive mode trying to close out my month, so the comics are lagging slightly. I’ll have some new ones out soon enough.
Thanks to kind links from Baron Schwartz, Robert Treat, and Log Buffer #109 (along with aggregation by Planet MySQL and Planet Postgresql), The Adventures of Ace, DBA has received 4,230 pageviews today as of this writing. With only 9 comics published thus far, I couldn’t be happier with that kind of number!
I hope that everyone, including Baron and Robert, continue to enjoy Ace’s adventures in the future!
To my few faithful fans, I just wanted to drop in and say that there won’t be a new comic tonight, though I’ll try to get one up by tomorrow night. I’m with a customer this week and it’s not as easy to do all the preparation while out of town.
Don’t worry, there are plenty ready to go as soon as possible!
Ace is a Jr. DBA trying like hell to maintain his own sanity, which is tough to do when faced with cynical coworkers, bureaucracy at every level, and countless database issues.
